This property offers 104ft of private sandy frontage, creating an idyllic setting for bonfires and lakeside relaxation. A modern oasis with a touch of Up-North charm, featuring a spacious interior and 6 bedrooms and 4 baths. Nestled between Suttons Bay and Traverse City providing easy access to a plethora of activities.

THE MICH is a place to relax and unwind. The home is spacious inside and out! Enjoy the large deck while you watch the sunrise over West Bay. The beach beckons from a few yards away across scenic M22. Once you make your way down the path you can sink your toes into the sand and meander out into the water!

The house is centrally located in lovely Leelanau county. Close to beautiful small towns with shops, restaurants, wineries, breweries, beautiful countryside views, lakes nearly around every corner and of course the spot voted most beautiful place in America, Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, National Park.

You have access to the whole house, except for a locked closet in the kitchen. The garage is not available to guests.

We are here to answer any questions you may have. We can be reached through the booking app.

Parking available on-site. There are a some cab services and Uber sometimes. It is best to have rides pre-planned. There are also wine tour companies. The house location is not walkable.

The listing states 12 guests. The township allows 10 guests ages 5 and up. Children under 5 do not count toward your guest count. Please let us know the ages of the children when booking.

M22 is a beautiful road to drive that makes its way around nearly the whole Leelanau Peninsula, along the lakeshore. To access the large private beach guest do have to cross M22, which is one of the main roads for Leelanau county. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times when outside, in the yard, on the beach, and when crossing the road.
In an effort to ensure that your stay is safe and enjoyable an agreement will be sent to you upon booking, for your signature, that includes these house rules and the terms of the stay.

 If you discover upon arrival or during your stay that something is broken please contact HOST immediately so preparations can be made to remedy the issue.

 The beach access is across the road and to the left of the guardrail.

 There is no dock. Do not go on the dock infront of the neighboring property.

 Supervise children at all times, especially near water, the road, and stairs.

 There are 2 firepits: One in the front yard and one on the beach. Please follow the Fire Safety rules.

 No smoking or vaping in the house. Please place all cigarettes in the container provided by the garage or container provided on the beach. Guests will be charged a fee if cigarette butts are found anywhere on the premises, including the beach.

 Follow the beach rules

 Only flush toilet paper and whatever traveled through your body. Do not flush anything else, including, but not limited to, flushable wipes, feminine products, diapers, dental floss, Q-tips, or baby wipes as it will clog to the septic system.

 PLEASE, DO NOT DRIVE OR PARK ON THE FRONT LAWN as the septic field is there and we don’t want it crushed.

 Quiet time is 10pm-8am.

 Do not light candles or have open flames inside the house.

 Please shake out and rinse sandy towels and bathing suits outside. Please do not put sandy items in the washer or dryer.

 No tape, tacks, nails, or command strips are to be used on the walls. Fees will be charged if damage is found.

 No glitter, confetti, water ballown, silly string, or streamer cannons inside, outside, or at the beach. If these items and/or their remnants are found on the property there will be a fee for clean-up.

 Use kitchen appliances responsibly. Clean them after use.

 Lock all doors and windows when leaving the property.

You will be charged for any damage to the premises.
