Enjoy relaxing on the covered deck and taking in the private forest setting and gorgeous Lake Tahoe view—it changes depending on the weather and time of day. Appreciate the alpenglow—German for the rosy light of the setting or rising sun seen on high mountains.
After the sunset, unwind and warm up by the fireplace with a mug of hot cocoa or a hot toddy. Get cozy on the comfortable leather sofas and unplug with a good conversation. Catch up on cable news or watch a movie on the flat panel TV with DVD player. There is Wi-Fi when you need to get connected.
Step onto the covered deck to barbeque steaks or chicken for dinner as you take advantage of the fresh air. Then finish meal prep in the well-equipped kitchen—it has everything you need to prepare a hearty breakfast, a quick snack, or a home-cooked dinner, and the dishwasher makes clean up a snap. Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a very comfortable and clean condo and we enjoyed our stay. It has pretty views and plenty of seating areas. The kitchen is very well equipped and new. I would give 5 stars except there were a few minor issues. When the stove exhaust fan ran it circulated rancid air so we think those filters need to be changed, the batteries were dead on the fireplace remote for the first day which meant the fire wouldn't "turn on" (this was corrected) and the hot tub/spa and games room were not open on the Sunday of a major long holiday weekend. Other than that it was fantastic, really comfortable and nicely appointed for a family of 4. I think that the add-on management fee of about $155 (when there's self check in) was a bit much.
