After a long day of fun, retreat to this spacious 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom 3700 sq. ft. home with plenty of room to relax and spend time with family and friends. Enjoy your private 125 ft. of lakefront with a sandy bottom ideal for swimming off the new dock or sit and relax on the lakeside deck. All this and just minutes to area beaches, shopping, golfing, ski resorts, and more!
The Sweetwater Retreat has a large front deck that provides a lovely gathering area to sit and take in the beauty! The serene backyard offers privacy with a deck, grilling area and pond.
The open-concept main floor has a well-appointed kitchen, a dining area that comfortably seats 8, and two living spaces, each with a fireplace. The larger living space features vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows highlighting the breathtaking views of the lake.
There are two bedrooms on the first floor. The first bedroom on the main floor is a cozy kids room with two sets of bunk beds for your kids to rest after a long day full of activities! The second bedroom on the main floor contains sliding doors leading out to the front deck with a spectacular view of the lake. It can sleep up to two on a queen mattress or just one if you're feeling like you need some well deserved alone time.
The second level is a private 500 sq. ft. master suite with large windows to show off the amazing panoramic views of the lake. The private master bathroom has an updated walk-in shower and clawfoot tub.
The Sweetwater Retreat includes ample closet and additional storage spaces to stow sporting equipment out of the way, a parking area large enough to accommodate a trailer for a boat, jet ski or snowmobile, and a separate laundry room in the basement with full-size washer and dryer.
The ideal location of the Sweetwater Retreat not only allows you to take a dip in the lake, with just a hop, skip and jump, but is also in a prime position to quickly take you on other adventures during your stay. Boyne City is a short 5 minute drive, with its picturesque downtown known for an array of exciting restaurants, shops and the best farmers market in Northern Michigan. For the skiing and golfing fans, Boyne Mountain is just 10-minutes away!
Downtown Charlevoix is a scenic 20-minute drive via the historic Ironton Ferry crossing where you can enjoy the waves of Lake Michigan at Michigan Beach Park.
