As you pull into the Bermuda Bay community, you may wonder if you took a wrong turn somewhere and have ended up on a Caribbean island. The vibrant hues of the homes and the pool in the community are bright and cheerful and create a fabulous first impression of your Outer Banks vacation home.
Each member of your family will find something to love as a guest of this wonderful resort. A small water park marks the centerpiece of the community. Sparkling pools, a fun splash pad with various water features, lots of fun toys and plenty of sun loungers create a super fun environment at which the kids will want to spend the whole day! Plus, this is a community which is constantly being updated; the Bay has a new pier constructed as of November 2019, perfect for fishing, launching kayaks or just enjoying the view.
Every member of the family can find something to enjoy here! If you're longing to feel the sand in your toes and simply must visit the beach, it's a very convenient 1.1 mile drive from the Bermuda Bay communities to the beautiful Kill Devil Hills beaches. You will LOVE this beautiful 3 story townhome! It is the perfect property for couples traveling together because it offers wonderful privacy in two Queen En Suites.
This sunny yellow vacation property will brighten both your day and your spirits! Here, you will enjoy a true rarity on the Outer Banks - your own private 1-car garage! In addition, enjoy lovely outdoor seating from one En Suite, as well as a dining table and chairs from the living area. Enjoy your meals al fresco!
In true Outer Banks fashion, your vacation property is an "upside down" design, which means that the bedrooms are on the lower level and the living area is on the upper level. On the first level are the two Queen En Suites and the laundry area. The first En Suite has a cozy blue and yellow patchwork quilt which coordinates perfectly with the joyful yellow walls and coastal decor, as well as a flat screen TV. The lucky folks who claim this bedroom also get their own private balcony with two chairs for watching the world go by and enjoying a quiet conversation. The second Queen En Suite features lovely pink and yellow coordinating bedding, a flat screen TV and a private bath.
The top level of your vacation condo is the bright and cheerful living area. With tall ceilings, an open floor plan and beautiful blue and yellow coastal decor, this will certainly end up your favorite place to hang out! A comfy sofa, chair and lounger are located strategically to encourage laughter, fun and interaction. The fully-equipped open kitchen with a pub table and 2 chairs creates a great flowing space so the chef is never left out of the conversation! And the spacious dining area can seat the whole group. Imagine the lively banter as you discuss the day's activities and plan for the evening's events!
Sunny Daze is pet-friendly, so there is no need to leave your pooch at home! For a small one-time fee of $135, you can bring up to two dogs to our pet-friendly property. No cats or other animals, dogs only.

Summary: We literally walked to the Wright Brothers Monument, so that was valuable. We could possibly have walked to the beach, but given all the stuff to carry we drove, and that was easy with easy parking. The kids (7 and 10) loved the community water park, which frankly was also more relaxing for the grownups, so great job there. The grill didn't work, and clearly had not done so in awhile and a few of the soap dispensers were empty but we had our preferred soap so that was fine. Only one bedroom has AC and the other bedroom tended to get quite hot if we didn't sleep with both sets of bedroom doors open, but we think that would be mitigated by another fan in the front bedroom. Overall, would absolutely rent again, even if the kids were disappointed the house wasn't a florid shade of pink, lol.
