Summary: This was an interesting place to stay. It depends on what you are looking for in a vacation housing location. This place is a converted garage unit turned into a one room condo. It was clean and was not as bad as it sounds. This unit was in a complex of multiple buildings and is in the middle of about 6 other places to stay. They did a very nice job converting it so it is pleasant and comfortable. It lacks windows, with the obvious downside of not being able to look out, but the upside of not having any light come in when one is sleeping. The garage and condos are in a nice location, a very easy walk across the complex to a wonderful beach, and around the corner from restaurants and a good coffee shop. It is not "in town" so the busyness and noise of being right in town is minimal. The owner lives above the unit, so she is readily available for questions. We had a hard time finding the place as the street address is for the whole complex. The owner guided us once we were in the complex and was waiting in the parking lot on the phone to wave us in. The complex has a pool, which we did not use. The entry area was set up with a small set of barbells for those who want more exercise than the beach. All in all this was a pleasant place to stay if you know what to expect and particularly if it was not your intent to spend your vacation sitting inside the condo. Not sure kids would like it but it is good if you want to explore the area for the day and eat out at night.
