Summary: My trip had to be postponed for a week because of hurricane Milton so instead of staying for a month I was only able to stay for three weeks. I contacted VRBO and my host Marj. She also called VRBO and approved the refund. It took multiple phone calls from both of us to VRBO to resolve the issue. I finally got it thanks to Marj. She was extremely helpful and easy to work with. It should not have been so difficult. Instead of VRBO refunding me, they sent Marj a refund for the whole month and made her refund me by check.. And they kept all their fees! For the amount they charged me for fees they should have simply refunded my credit card. It should not have been so difficult. Thank goodness Marj was so helpful.
