This updated cottage on Eagle Lake is great year round. Enjoy this 400 acre lake and many outdoor options around the area. Whether you love to water ski or snow ski both seasons are amazing here at Eagle Lake! Just a short ride to Notre Dame, and convenient to major interstate systems. Two Ski Resorts are just 35 miles NW of our home! Features include: Master Bedroom with king bed, 2 secondary bedrooms, one with Queen bed and the other with two with bunk beds. Upstairs area sleeps additional guests w/ bunk beds and lake views. Great Room with cathedral ceiling open to Kitchen and panoramic lake views. Outdoor living includes large wood deck with outdoor seating, fire pit and umbrellas. Enjoy the pier and sandy bottom for lake swimming.

Summary: We had come in for the Notre Dame game and had several friends and a couple of teens. It’s a reasonable 25 minute drive from campus. The property is very clean and well furnished. The neighborhood was quiet. There are two rooms with king or queen size beds, one room with 4 beds, and one large room with around 4 bunk beds that can sleep 8. Great for families or friends coming for the games. The house would also be a great place for a relaxing several days on a lake. They have a fire pit and two kayaks, which we didn’t take advantage of. Nice deck with plenty of seating and a great view on the lake. The water looked clear and I would probably swim in it if the weather was warmer. We didn’t cook but the kitchen looked like it was well stocked. I have no reservations recommending this for a lake getaway or a place to gather with friends.
