Summary: In searching for a place to stay in Martinique, our priorities were a central location and a clean home with a nice view. Our gite on La Savane du Robert more than fulfilled our expectations. It is located within a one hour drive from every location on the island and is also well-equipped, organized, neat and clean. Best of all, are the breathtaking views. Sitting atop a ridge, the property overlooks both the Atlantic Ocean and the Bay of Robert. Our hostess, Elisabeth, was friendly, helpful and attentive while still respecting our privacy. We really enjoyed our conversations with her and our time spent there. Hopefully, we will return someday.
