Summary: Property was very difficult to get to due to every road being closed atound it. We had to figure out which alley would get us there. A heads up from the owner about how to actually get to the house would have been helpful. So much road work was going on we were woken by heavy equipment directly in front of the house, would be a busy road otherwise, so not sure which is worse. We were blocked in every morning and had to talk construction workers into moving various machinary to leave the property. TV wouldnt turn on, propery mamager came over, didnt turn his show off on his phone so had something blasting from his pocket while he was there. He changed the battery in the remote, which i said was likely the problem, but he decided to act like i was an idiot and told me all i had to do was push the power button, mind you after the battery was changed. Weird how that works. The ladder to the loft is super rickity (sp?), I'm 165lbs and the ladder wobbled and creaked, I was truly expecting it to give out at any time. There were no chairs inside, outside was dirty, not just all the construction dirt, but cigarette butts, garbage, all the window screens piled up, not swept. The cozy couch pictured has been replaced by a broken futon. My mom weighs 150 and it was cracking and settling as if it was going to break at any time. I know the road work is out of their control but many other factors left this an extremely disappointing stay. We left a day early due to the conditions.
