Summary: A quaint, clean, well appointed country home with everything needed for a relaxing vacation. We arrived to a lovely, secluded, hilltop home, several deer, and friendly barn cats. There's a modern but homey farmhouse kitchen, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, soft towels, and a cozy fireplace. We never turned on the TV nor even noticed there wasn't wifi because we were there for peace, quiet, and nature, but the 5G signal was strong when we needed it. The owner provided some movies and books. Remote location, but close to Amish country, we enjoyed exploring the property via groomed walking trails, and a rigorous hike at Fort Hill Earthworks. We grilled on the deck, watched birds and a lovely sunset. It is dark and quiet at night. The bedrooms are separated by a long hallway which kept it extra quiet at night. The house is set up well for any length of stay. The owners are marvelous: warm, responsive, eager to make our experience perfect. I cannot stress enough how pleased we were with our stay. Smooth as silk, start to finish. Our only complaint is that we had booked too short a visit.
