Summary: We enjoyed our stay here. The property is very spacious. All 3 bedrooms are large doubles/twins with lots of storage. The 2 bathrooms are also very generous. It was very clean and well equipped for a holiday. We had the top floor of the house as you look at the picture. The lower floor is a separate property. We had exclusive use of the top garden, great for our dog. That has bbq and seating and a huge table for outdoor eating. As a bonus the house has a huge garage underneath which the other property used to park their car, we parked in the drive, but we used the garage for our bikes, but would be great if you had any sports gear that you wanted to store. The owner doesn't speak English, but her daughter(?) spoke a little and we managed fine as google translate came to rescue!!! There is wifi. We loved Asturias, Absolutely beautiful and so many charming places to visit, Loved Lastres and Tazones. Went for a long day to Picos de Europa, stunning! For local activities we recommend Trampalones at El Puntal, we hired kayaks and went out on the river, really lovely. Villaviciosa charming old town with 2 supermarkets, we used mercadona which was fine and had a good fish counter. I highly recommend this property for a holiday base for exploring this beautiful region of Spain, you would need a car as it is out of town. Parking is a problem in all the popular local spots but arrive early or persist and you usually find somewhere!!
