Surrounded by the Mohonk Preserve, this peaceful escape is an idyllic place to reconnect with the natural world. This quiet country road just outside of New Paltz is the perfect place to relax in seclusion. The lake is only accessible by a select few homes along the shoreline, with no sound but lapping waves and wind in the trees. Make sure to keep an eye out for soaring eagles overhead, who've made their home along the ridge.
During winter months, snow and ice can make navigating this driveway difficult. We strongly recommend booking only if your vehicle has AWD/4WD and winter tires for safe access.
While our plow service clears the driveway after snowfall, they also service multiple properties in the area, which may cause delays. Please plan accordingly.
