This very comfortable spacious cypress log siding cabin, is centrally located to all major cities or attractions that the Smoky Mountains Overlooks Little Tennessee River, offers fishing, swimming, tubing, rafting. AND just below you is a stocked trout pond with waterfall. VERY MINIMUM TRAFFIC RURAL RD SEPARATES PROPERTY AND RIVER. Our Boundry includes 50' into river and river bank. Can easily walk across road. Maintained river bank for fishing and just relaxing.
A one bedroom, one bath, with sofa sleeper to accommodate up to 3-4. Dish TV service with large flat screen tvs in living room and bedroom. Newly remodeled bathroom with washer and dryer, shower/tub, tankless hot water heater, and tile floors. Private entrance from mud room and side deck.
Fully equipped kitchen. new air fryer that you will love! Granite counter tops, center portable island. See thru gas fireplace into living room. Back door opens into inclosed porch/mud room. Enjoy your coffee sitting at the table, gazing out to the sights and sounds of God's own masterpiece of beauty and peace.

Central heat and air, or gas fireplace at your comfort. Ceiling fans. Entrance from front deck and back porch. Back porch has covered walk way from parking area, set your "stuff" out of your way, or just sit and relax.
Bedroom is cozy and comfortable. King size bed with one year old new mattresses on pinewood log bed. Large flat screen tv. Windows for outside views. Private access to bathroom and laundry. Ceiling fan, original hardwood floors.
This cabin is not only comfy and relaxing, but has everything needed for Fun! Hot Tub is on backside of cabin, private, with gorgeous view. Can go in and out privately from bedroom/bath. Towels provided. Gas grill, patio table, outdoor cooler unit, rocking chairs and full deck furniture is all on the wrap around semi covered roof with 3 areas of access. 2 wide steps up from large 2-3 vehicle parking or 2 higher stone steps from front. Chargoal grill available front grass as well. Open fire-pit just outside front door, beautiful view surrounding you. Chairs for seating, as well as some outdoor fire-pit cooking utensils for your use and enjoyment.
Below is our stocked private small trout pond with rock waterfall. No fee for fishing, however we do not provide equipment. There is a max limit per booking of 2 fish to keep and cook. Or cross over to river bank and fish the Little Tennessee River. If from our bank - no license needed. Or tie up a raft or tub and swim right there below you. Water flow varies, but you will float on if not tied up. Enjoy the pleasures of canoeing or kayaking with use of our river toys. Located behind pond. No extra fee for equipment, just ask you return all after use.
The Sparrows Nest cabin is at foot of our own private small mountain. Although private, it is not secluded. A home to the left of you is owned by friends from Florida that come up 3 give or take times a year. They do not do vacation rentals. Very friendly, respectful may or may not when they are there. The middle home above you is out of sight unless seeing when arriving or leaving. Very friendly couple, no kids, works a lot. The large log home above is our personal vacation home, we stay in when in mountains ourselves and selectively rent out. Again, very very private but not isolated. There are no homes beside, past or around our mountain. A county road separates our mountain/cabins and river. This is a very rarely used road as there is not much through traffic to homes close to us. Summer you may see young rider on her horse, some walkers, occasionally a tractor or golf cart. Safe if accompanied for pets and children.
There is not a land line phone. You can access and get on line if you have built in wifi or port to connect from. We offer a portable wireless device for internet use for basic needs and information. Not for streaming, uploading or downloading.
Easy access. Just 15 less miles from downtown Franklin, Hospital, major resturants or major shopping chains.
