Panoramas of mountains, lake, and peek-a-boos of Rainer can be seen from almost anywhere in the house (including hot tub!). With two full kitchens, fire pit, and plenty of activities (bags, axe-throwing, kayaks, tubes, games) you'll have everything you need for a memorable getaway.
The space
** Pardon our metaphorical dust, as we did some remodeling this winter that has left the exterior paint looking less than perfect. **
We take cleaning seriously and provide hand sanitizer in every room, antibacterial soap, sanitizer spray, antibacterial bleach, and require the whole home to be thoroughly cleaned and surfaces sanitized after each guest.
Common spaces:
Floor-to-ceiling windows open to an outdoor deck with dining and seating areas and gas BBQ. The kitchen is stocked with pantry staples and all essential utensils and cooking equipment. We provide a coffee maker (Nespresso and drip) and coffee pods, milk frother, and instant hot kettle, along with vanilla syrup, cinnamon, sugar, and during the holidays peppermint syrup for your drinks. You will also find a stocked pantry of essentials. Washer and dryer are available along with all the needed laundry supplies.
In the daylight basement, you will find a large 4k tv with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and game consoles and independent zoned heating and cooling so everyone can stay comfortable. The bathroom has separate toilet and shower rooms as well as an additional washer and dryer for maximum flexibility. The kitchen and bedroom both open to a lower deck with additional seating, fire pit, overhead heater, and 7-person, low-chemical hot tub. Firewood is provided for the wood-burning fire pit adjacent to the deck.
Bedrooms:
The primary bedroom in the upstairs loft overlooks the floor to ceiling view, has a Sleep Number mattress that enables each sleeper to adjust their side to their preferred firmness, and has an en-suite bath with toiletries should you have forgotten anything.
The main floor bedroom contains a plush, king-size BeautyRest Black mattress and is steps away from the bathroom. This bedroom tends to be the quietest and stays dark the longest in the mornings.
The basement bedroom contains two plush, queen-sized BeautyRest beds separated by a ship's ladder leading up to a play loft. For those who don't wish to rise with the sun, blackout curtains are hung alongside the window and sliding door.
Every bedroom has provided phone charges for most phones and built-in USB ports for easy charging. There is also a fan in each bedroom to help you stay comfortable all night.
Garage:
Guests have access to a 2-car heated garage for parking that also houses axe and knife throwing, fishing gear, kayaks, lake floats (along with an air compressor), jump starter, and 60 amp Tesla EV charger.
We are dog friendly and have a fully fenced yard.
