Light, spacious family home (160 m2) with garden and free parking in a quiet residential area of North Amsterdam called Kadoelen. You can reach the center of Amsterdam within 30 minutes by bus or car, or use the bikes and jump on the free ferry! The area boasts highlights like The Zaanse Schans (windmills) Waterland (typical Dutch villages) and The Twiske (big recreational park where the locals swim and BBQ), all within a cycable distance.
This house is ideal for families. It has a spacious open-plan living room and fully equipped kitchen (oven-cooker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine). Upstairs there is a master bedroom, and a second bedroom, with a double bed. The living room has patio windows opening out onto a secluded sunny garden. There are also swings and trampoline for the children. You can park your car on the premises.
The house is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood just minutes away from the picturesque Dutch countryside, yet just a stone's throw away from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam's city center. Amsterdam Noord is one of Amsterdam's up and coming areas with great cafes and restaurants along the waterfront.
Buses to the city center stop just a 5-minute walk away from the house and take 7 minutes to the metro. The metro takes you in about 5 minutes to the center. From there you can easily reach the city by tram or on foot. Better still, use our bikes to cycle to the waterfront (15 mins) and catch the ferry to the center (5-15mins depending on the ferry you take). The ferry is free and runs all night. The city ring-road (A10) is closeby making it the perfect way to go to Amsterdam or the Netherlands, windmill, fishing towns like Volendam, Edam or Hoorn, the cheese market in Alkmaar, or the spectacular tulip fields in springtime.
