It's centrally located to Blue Ridge Lake, the Toccoa River, and the Cohutta Mountains. Hikers will be happy to know the Benton McKaye Trail is right in the community. Other great attractions nearby include Expedition:Bigfoot! The Sasquatch Museum, Blue Ridge Community Theater, Blue Ridge Adventure Park, Bear Claw Vineyards & Winery, Fall Branch Falls, Old Toccoa Farm, and Gilmer County Parks.
As you enter this snowbird-friendly cabin, you will be welcomed by an impressive open floor plan with insanely high cathedral ceilings with exposed wood beams, floor-to-ceiling windows letting in endless natural light, and a gorgeous floor-to-ceiling wood stove that warms up the place in the blink of an eye. Gather around the warmth of the wood stove and get ready for a cozy evening watching entertaining shows on the TV or playing any of the provided board games. Cooking enthusiasts will have a blast showing off their culinary skills in the well-appointed kitchen, complete with all stainless steel appliances, including a Keurig coffee maker. The living room opens onto a screened porch with a picnic table. From here, you will have access to a large 10-foot deck with a 240-degree mountain view. The deck is the ultimate outdoor space to unwind and create everlasting memories - it boasts an outdoor dining area, numerous chairs, and a bubbly hot tub where you can treat yourself to soothing baths any time you like. The main floor houses a primary suite with a gas heater, access to the deck, and an en suite bath with a shower and a clawfoot tub.
The lower level houses an entertaining game room with a pool table, a shuffleboard table, and a welcoming rec area with a large TV. This space can also be used as an additional sleeping area as it features three comfortable beds and a spacious full bathroom. The upper level offers a second bedroom, a full bathroom with a clawfoot tub, and a loft with an additional sleeping nook.
