Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Lovely swimming pool. Big enough for real swimming. Bedroom very good with everything needed and very comfortable bed. Geographical location excellent for visiting region. Pretty setting.

Negative: Exceptionally disturbing village clock. Unfortunately we could not get used to the bell, which ruined our sleep. It reached the stage where we were glad when thunderstorms drowned it out. Not exactly a house. The excellent bedroom is the only secure part. The kitchen is under a loggia with canvas sides, which do not keep out bad weather or small animals. More like glamping. The shower room is outside the bedroom and the bedroom door cannot be opened quietly, which is a problem at night. Surprising amount of traffic noise from nearby roads and even noise from aircraft, but this did not disturb sleep. Like many rural properties, accessed via a rough, stony and steep track. Not ideal for many vehicles.

Summary: Delightful spot for a stay in fair weather, if you can tolerate the bells.
