Summary: When we looked at Vrbo listing it Hardly had any pictures of the house. Then we found out it was listed through a local rental agency In Dennis( Foran) My family owns a home in Dennis and we have been visiting there since 1985. I have rented from other realty but not this one and I don’t think I will ever consider renting through them again. The house lacked any personal touches. Not one picture on the walls. The kitchen was not stocked properly at all. Not one big ball to make a salad no Baking pans, very few dishes even though it rents to a party of 10!! A very outdated coffee maker and no other gadgets. We went food shopping before getting our keys and when we entered the property I was shocked at how dirty the property was. Grime and mold in the freezer bins!! Dead stink bugs in the cutlery drawers. A/C vents had black dirt stuck to them for maybe a year of not more, floors not vacuumed nor moped And do not get me started on the bathrooms! Hair from previous tenets !! All of this in aCovid troubled year . The contract said sanitized and cleaned using Covid regulations. Probably what they meant was the cleaners put gloves on and opened and closed the drawers and then left the house without doing anything else! We had to clean the fridge and kitchen before I was able to store our food and lost a lot of ice cream I purchased from Smugglers!!! I called Foran and spoke to an agent who told me he will contact the owner to send a cleaning person and he will let me know when they will come. This was 4:30 pm on Saturday and since I did not hear from him by 5:30 we started cleaning the bathrooms and bedrooms.Sunday morning at 8:30 am when the kids were asleep, the cleaning lady stopped by to clean our fridge?!!! I explained the whole house needed cleaned and when she insisted of it being cleaned my husband introduced her to the dead bugs in the kitchen drawers and the dirt on the vents. She had nothing to say but continued to be rude and unprofessional. We were in town for a family reunion and unfortunately spent the first day and a half cleaning a rental that should have been cleaned. He realty was not responsive nor did they care when we told them upon leaving. They did not even apologize. I have a lot of friends who do rent in the summer and I made sure to share my experience with this house and this realty. The only thing this house had ads positive was it’s location and nothing more to offer even though it is listed as a high end rental.
