Positive: This is the basement unit in a home with a beautiful mountain view. There is a balcony/porch that runs the length of the unit with seating to enjoy the beautiful view. The unit is roomy and well equipped for microwave meal prep. There is a gas grill available. Bathroom is large and well equipped with a nice shower and a heat/light unit to warm the bathroom up. Since it is a basement unit it was a bit cool/damp feeling when we arrived but the mini-split warmed things up quickly. The upper part of the home is also a rental and it was occupied while we were there. We could hear their sliding door, people talking and the television but things quieted down in the early evening and noise was not a problem. It was really nice to have a selection of coffee pods available for the Keurig machine. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the unit to family & friends. We used GPS to find the house and it brings you to the bottom of the hill below the house. You just have to keep going up and around to the house.
Negative: Not so much a didn't like but a be aware...The drive into the house is, for the most part, gravel road and parts of it are steep. The final extra-steep driveway up to the house is concrete. We drive a Prius and it did fine but I wouldn't attempt it in bad weather. They also warn you that the parking is tight and it would be difficult for a larger vehicle to turn around.
