Prepare to relax! Come and enjoy this veteran owned, private waterfront home either from the end of the pier or from the spacious screened in porch. Watch the bald eagles and ospreys fish and listen to the frogs sing. Take a leisurely stroll through the woods and enjoy the wildlife. This 5 bedroom home has plenty of space for up to 11 people, a fully furnished kitchen, and front and back porches to sit and enjoy the scenery. There are two kayaks to explore the lake, a grill for barbecuing, and fishing poles to catch something tasty for dinner. Plenty of crabs to catch by the pier. Deep Creek Lake is a brackish lake that connects to the Chesapeake Bay. Point Lookout State Park is just a 10 minute drive where you can enjoy the beach and plenty of history. Summary: We had a fantastic Memorial Day weekend at this house. The yard was very well kept and the dock and view were great. Our favorite part of the house was the gigantic screened in porch overlooking the water. The house was very clean and well stocked with any supplies we needed. The beds were very nice and comfortable too. The pictures in the listing didn’t show the house that well and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the house was when we arrived. Lots of wildlife to see and fishing to do. I will definitely rent this house again and look forward to it!
