Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: 6 of us loved the location to the beach and Agnes waters town centre. The house was very spacious and great for 3 couples. Parking was good for 3 cars and the neighbourhood was lovely. The Master bedroom had a very comfortable bed and was an excellent size, and the other ensuite one was too. The beach was lovely and there was an outside shower. The games room was spacious too. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of glasses, cups, utensils, plates and cooking pots and pans. The oven worked well.
Negative: The house had some maintenance issues which we brought to the attention of Cove who were managing the property. The bed in two of the rooms was very uncomfortable, some lights didn't work, there was only one dart for the dart board, there was no coffee maker, one of the sliding doors needed attention, there were no bedside lights in the Master bedroom and the main switches were not accessible when you needed to get out to the toilet at night, the bath in the master bedroom wouldn't drain due to the plug being forced in, fly screens in the ensuite toilet had fallen out which my husband fixed and there were no fly screens on the windows above the bed so those had to stay shut. The upstairs bathroom didn't have a proper towel rail and the shower screen door was broken. The wine fridge wasn't working and the fridge was only just big enough when the bottles of wine and food were in there. The lights downstairs on the deck needed new globes and the front door had no deadlock. I passed on all our concerns to Cove and they said that they would discuss with the owner. If all those things get fixed it would have been a much better experience. Charlotte from Cove was very grateful for our feedback and did offer for someone to come out and look at the bar fridge but unfortunately the person coming to look at it was sick and then we told her not to worry as we were half way into our stay.
