Summary: Our stay at Rosegarden was easily one of the highlights of our entire trip across Portugal. The unique and colorful design aesthetic is what initially drew me in, and this did not disappoint in person. All the spaces were beautiful without being gaudy, and clearly much thought went into the style. Everything else was simply icing on the cake. Staff were kind and attentive, the breakfast complete, fresh, and delicious, the rooms exceptionally clean, superbly comfortable, and quiet. Just how quiet? During our time in Sintra there was an impressive two-day-long windstorm passing through. The noise outside was constant and significant. However, the windows in our room were so solid that it was essentially silent inside. We would open the windows to the roaring wind for a few moments for fresh air, then close them and it was as if we were sealed in a soundproof chamber. This and everything else contributed to some of the best sleep I think I've ever had on a vacation. We honestly did not want to leave. Thank you, Rosegarden, for being one of the most memorable accommodations we've ever had! I sincerely hope to return someday. Derek & JP.
