You’ll be mins from the pristine beach with popular restaurants, cafes & boutique stores all just a short stroll away.
The Space:
Check yourself in and step inside this bright, sun-filled townhouse where you can experience everything that Rockaway has to offer without even getting in the car from this great central location.
Relax within the open living area on the plush sofas while you stream all your favorites on the wall mounted TV – the perfect place for a movie night in or to play one of the many boardgames in front of the fire. On a warm afternoon, slide open the glass doors to create an indoor/outdoor space that steps out onto the lower level balcony.
The living area can also be converted into a third sleeping space with a comfortable sofa bed and a fold down futon bed for an additional four guests.
Cook up all your favorites in the sun-soaked kitchen that comes fully equipped with everything you could need. There is a freestanding oven and cooktop, a built in microwave, a coffee maker, a fridge/freezer with a filtered water/ice dispenser and even a dishwasher to handle all the cleaning up.
Eat together at the dining table with seating for the whole group or if you don’t feel like cooking, walk just 5 minutes to Rockaways famous Sand Dollar Restaurant and The Old Oregon Smoke House.
There are two spacious bedrooms upstairs with a luxuriously large king bed in the master and a queen bed in the second bedroom. Both rooms feature their own sparkling ensuites as well as access to the upper balcony where you can sit and enjoy your coffee each morning listening to the sound of the waves.
Downstairs you will find an additional half bath and the handy laundry nook as well as the rec room in the garage giving you plenty of space to spread out and enjoy this inviting home.

Guest Access:
Guests have private access to the entire townhouse, free Wi-Fi, free garaged parking, complimentary coffee, a laundry nook with a washing machine and dryer, an upper and lower balcony as well as access to streaming apps on the large wall mounted TV.
The Neighborhood:
Located right in the heart of town and just steps to the beautiful seven-mile stretch of uninterrupted beach is this picture perfect townhouse. Here you will find restaurants, cafés, and grocery stores all within walking distance so you can leave the car behind and enjoy the easy convenience of this central location.
There are plenty of activities for the adventurous, hike up the nearby Neahkahnie Mountain, go clamming, crabbing or trout fishing, go whale watching or just enjoy the annual events like the kite festival and arts and crafts fair.
Visit the Cedar Wetlands Preserve, a great spot to hike and see some truly majestic trees. At Rockaway’s nature preserve, you can check out the Ascending Giant, a 154-foot wonder. This huge cedar has a viewing platform so you can step back, appreciate its enormity and snap a great photo.
Rockaway is best known for its beach which spans seven-miles of sand and surrounds the city with every inch of the beach open to the public. Explore numerous intertidal pools where you may see colored starfish varying from lavender to gold. Nearby, Kelly’s Brighton Marina offers crabbing and fishing galore.
Strolling through town is just as fun, with oodles of shops featuring traditional beach fare, ice cream, antiques and prized mementos. There are many delicious cafes and restaurants to delve into like Beach Bakeshop and Grumpy's Café for breakfast with an assortment of made-from-scratch pastries and breakfast entrees or the Offshore Grill and Coffee House for the best breakfast burritos.
For lunch or dinner, the Old Oregon Smokehouse (5 min walk) serves up fresh and fried entrees alongside some of the best seafood chowder on the coast. Rockaway Beach is also where the Pronto Pup was born – just look for the giant Pronto Pup for the famous hot dog on a stick. The Offshore Grill features fresh, local fish and produce, and the Sand Dollar (6 min walk) offers oceanfront dining – the perfect place to cap off an amazing Rockaway getaway.
Take a ride on the historic Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad for sites tucked away from the highway. The two-hour rail journey goes between Garibaldi and Rockaway Beach every day, stopping in Wheeler along the way. The train is a great way to see the region and enjoy not just Rockaway Beach but some of the surrounding areas as well.

Getting Around:
The best way to get around Rockaway is by car with garaged parking included with your stay as well as plenty of street parking by the unit.
With such a great central location, walking is ideal with great restaurants, cafes and the beautiful beach all just a short stroll away.
Other Things to Note:
The house is not managed by a large vacation rental company so you can expect a more personalized service when staying with us.
There is no ocean view is only from our unit, but we are located ~50 steps from the sand.
The home does not have air conditioning which is normal for this area as the climate stays cool.
There are 30 steps in total within the house, 15 steps from the entry to the first floor and then another 15 to the top floor. There are handrails provided to keep guests feeling safe and secure when climbing the stairs.
This property is dog friendly. We can't promise an allergy free environment as pets are commonly in the space.
There is a smart doorbell at the front door which has a video camera.
The unit has a garage that you can park in, but to open the garage you'll need to enter through the front door and then open it. There is ample free on street parking as well.
For winter guests: Please note that the gas fireplace pictured in the living room does not turn on. Its internal parts lost the battle with the salt air, it would cost a fortune to fix, and we were told it would just rust out again in a few years. It was only decorative, not heat producing, anyway. But know that the fireplace does not turn on.
