Nestled behind acres of woodland, Debra Jean's is a tucked-away 2+ acre waterfront paradise with moss-draped oaks, flowering plants, private dock and boat ramp. Views are enhanced by the location of this property along the inside of a northward bend in the river. Bring your own boat to launch from the backyard or enjoy the kayaks and paddleboat provided. Enjoy manatee watching, or fishing from the private dock, and stargazing around the fire pit in the evening! Cook up your catch "at home" or boat to Corky Bells to enjoy the best seafood in nearby Palatka!
The home features a large Florida room with three-way views into the yard and out to the river. Warm and inviting, the home has plenty of room for a large family or friend group. Enjoy movie-night in the living room which features a large leather sectional and flat-screen TV. Cook up your catch in the well-stocked kitchen and dine inside or out on the patio. The two indoor dining areas are located by the kitchen, and in the Florida room with river view. Rest well in three bedrooms outfitted with crisp white linens. The River View bedroom features a King sized bed with direct river views. The corner bedroom has a Queen sized bed and attached bathroom with walk-in shower. The Bunk Room has a Twin over Full bunk with a Twin trundle bed, and books and games for the kids. Bathrooms are outfitted with soft white towels and starter amenities.
The St. John's River is the longest river in Florida and is unique in that it is one of only two rivers in the world which flow north. Fisherman will appreciate the location of this property near Lake George and the Rodman Reservoir, a trophy "bass factory" known for its giants. Crystal Cove is a short ride by boat or car where you can gas up your boat or rent one to enjoy during your stay. Local yearly events include Fishing Tournaments in the area, the Azalea Festival in March, Bostwick Blueberry Festival in April, and the Blue Crab Festival on Labor Day weekend.
