Positive: The apartment is nicely decorated for your comfort. The location was perfect for walking around the town with more than enough restaurants all around you for you to make your choice. The bus and train terminal is also an easy walk away. Should you wish to eat in, there are more than enough items in the kitchen for use expect for another review that stated that there was not one good knife. This is still the case.
Negative: Unfortunately we did not notice that they do not provide linen for the bed or towels for your use when choosing this apartment. You need to hire these (EURO 75) and they were left on the bed for you to make the bed yourself. This is quite unusual and as Genius Level Booking.com customers this is the first time that we have encountered this in all the years we have made bookings. The other concern is that you have to collect the keys from the agency which is perhaps approx 400 metres away which is fine but if it is raining and you are walking, well that would not be fine. Also, if key collection is out of business hours, then there is an additional cost. For the return of the keys, they must also be returned back to the agency. We also believe that the damage deposit is excessively high. We were charged EUR 500 but it has since gone up to EUR 750 which is a lot of money to have pending on your credit card. Our damage deposit was returned within 48 hours of our departure but the site states that it should be reimbursed within 14 days. There is a report that is given to you, upon key collection (also one in the apartment) re any damage/markings in the apartment but unfortunately it is written only in French. There is one sheet in English but this states what is required of you upon checking out and it is not insignificent. Empty this, clean that, dispose of that, but no mention on how to dispose of these items as there is no communal rubbish bin downstairs in the complex. And this was on TOP of a EUR 90 cleaning fee.
