Cable, DVDs, and Blu-ray players on the TV give you all the modern entertainment you could want, while wood-carved bookshelves and lovely window views of the lake give you a peace of mind you just can't get in the hustle and bustle of the city. Make all your friends at home jealous by using the WiFi to upload a photo of the view, or just step onto the deck for some fresh air. The home's kitchen is a cook's dream, with wooden cabinets complete with all the basic dishware you need alongside shining stainless steel appliances. The air conditioner means you don't have to worry about getting overheated while cooking in the hot summer months, but a grill out on the upper deck gives you a reprieve if you're feeling too stuffy inside. Dock details: Deep water dock with one slip, however an additional boat may be parked on the edge of the dock.

Summary: Two families, 8 people total. More than enough room although we spent most of our time outside. Plenty of towels and paper products. The kitchen was recently renovated and well stocked with just about everything you can imagine. There were plenty of games to choose from as well. Although the inside was clean, comfortable, and well stocked the view and 3 decks plus boat slip were the real star of this place. The boat slip dock also had a diving platform and swing that was a real hit. We appreciated that there were umbrellas for shade on 3 out of the 4 decks. Owners also provided life jackets, floaties, 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards although there were no paddles for the boards and one of the boards was in pretty bad shape. This lake is stunning and was surprisingly quiet for August. This house is in a great location on the lake and not far from stores and attractions. While there were no deal breakers and we would totally consider returning there are a few cons worth mentioning that should probably be addressed at this price point. 1) The A/C is either on or off and you need a ladder to adjust. The ladder provided was not the most stable. 2) There are quite a few stairs to get to the water, which didn't bother us, but might be a problem for some people. 3) No paddles for the paddleboard made them unusable as the kayak paddles are not long enough to stand up on the paddleboard. 4) Ice maker and fridge water did not work although they did provide ice trays. 5) Guest house was not up to the same standard as the main house and looked to be in the middle of a remodel. The kids didn't seem to mind though and the bathroom was more than adequate. 6) The initial impression as you drive up is not great; in fact there was a tarp hanging off the roof and there seemed to be a few unfinished projects. But the inside, the view, and the decks make up for all that! Overall we had a fantastic time. So much so that we never left the entire week of our stay!
