Positive: The location was pretty good, easy walk to the harbour / town centre, there are plenty of restaurants, a small supermarket within easy walking distance and several large supermarkets a short drive away. The local fishermen sell their catch at stands in the harbour most mornings, great variety of fish / shellfish not to be missed! The apartment was relatively well fitted out and generally comfortable and is relatively spacious. Four people could stay there with ease. The host, who doesn't speak English, was very genial and helpful and kindly gave us a jar of his delicious homemade honey.
Negative: The description of the property was a little misleading, the photograph shown was a flat above ours and we had no access to the patio shown. The description said there was an outdoor eating area, but we only got this after a discussion with our host who allowed us to use an area of his garden, no sign of the barbecue either! View of the harbour was a bit limited from the flat we had. Parking is difficult for a right hand drive car as you have to park tight against a building, on a one-way street on a quite narrow road. There was occasionally a space near the entrance which was easier to use.
