Positive: Home has a good location for getting into downtown and accessing restaurants and local attractions. Beds were comfortable and the host responded quickly with the request for paper towels. Washer/dryer worked well and were a nice addition to have.
Negative: Host will not provide your check-in code until you've paid a $300 damage deposit. This is not mentioned anywhere on his advertisement. Once your cancellation period expires you're stuck. Very complicated check-in with photo scans and ID checks. Kitchen is poorly equipped with silverware. Back porch and outdoor area in back hasn't been cleaned and deck furnishings are falling apart.
Summary: Needs to be upront about damage deposit!
