Located in the foothills of " beautiful" Altadena, this updated guest house is really something to experience. Whether you are a business traveler, vacationer, or "stay"cationer, you will experience the San Gabriel mountains right outside your backdoor. With numerous activities at your fingertips, there is something for everyone. Mountain biking and hiking, shopping and dining, or just staying put to enjoy the lush grounds with fruits trees, a running-water creek, many sitting areas with mountain and sunset views, a lagoon-like pool and an inviting jacuzzi. The owners are on-site and available for any questions or needs you may have. Having the Rose Bowl so close, the annual parade is three miles down the hill and we can arrange shuttling so you don't have to bother with parking. The parade floats, on display for three days after the parade, are even closer to our property and a real treat to visit. Christmas Tree Lane is also in Altadena along with the famous Balian House that has a beautiful display of Christmas lights, music and scenes of Christmas (this one being walking distance from our house)! Old town Pasadena is booming with shops, restaurants, movies theaters, and more just a short distance away. Downtown L.A. is a 20-30 drive on the 110 Freeway. Hollywood is a 30-40 min. drive depending on traffic (of course). The beach or snow skiing can both be as close as an 1 hour away. Of course, we think you'll want to stay put...
