1 Bedroom Apartment with Balcony, Security and Wellness Facilities

Welcome to the Old North End, a quiet tree lined neighborhood within Colorado Springs. Tied as #1 of AIRDNA's top 100 in Colorado Springs. Our apartment is steps from CC, parks, dining, bars, and plenty of culture. You’ll love the neighborhood, the people, and the open spaces minutes away (not to mention some great running trails).
Walk/bike to the east/west to find trails and parks. We have 2 bikes for your use. Head north or south for the college, up and coming bars, coffee shops, and stores.
Our space is a very unique, clean, and accessible apartment, perfect for anyone visiting Colorado Springs. It is readily equiped for 2 - 5 people. The 5th person can sleep on the single bed, but it is a very simple fold out. If you have more than 5, please contact us for a booking request. The full kitchen is available for use. We do provide a very simple breakfast that normally include bagels, cream cheese, bananas, and then milk and orange juice. If you have any requests, let us know.
You have full access to the apartment and the backyard. The hot tub is available from 8 am till 10 pm. Please shower before using it. It is maintained at 80 degrees so if you would like to use it let us know so we can heat it up.
Anything you need, let us know. Any special requests prior to arrival, don't hesitate to ask. We'll do our best to accommodate.
We live in the house next door. The neighborhood is awesome, the bars are great, and the happy hours are even better. Ask and we'll try and guide you as best we can.
Park on the street if you have a car. If you're going to drink downtown, we have two bikes for use. No need to push your luck with the cops. We also may be available to pick you up...although we do enjoy downtown as well.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay here with a few exceptions.. A. We stayed in late August and the one swamp cooler located in the bedroom never seemed to cool the other rooms. The unit is upstairs so expect it to be a bit warm in the summer months untill the sun goes down and you can open some windows for air flow. B. In my questinair about why I was staying with them I mentioned that I was hiking Pikes Peak and wanted access to their hot tub, which is the reason I actually chose this place.. When I messaged asking if I could use it the response was that it takes a few hours to heat so we couldn't use it until the next day, which wasn't very professional. If someone specifies they want access to the hot tub it should be heated and ready as needed. C. We ran out of toilet paper and when I messaged the owners I felt like I was bothering them by their response that they were out and would try to get some and then came hours later and handed me one roll and walked away. I'd say maybe try to be a little more understanding if your supplies run out and not make your guests feel awkward about it. D. I messaged asking if the had a grill we could possibly borrow and they never responded to my message but a little grill appeared outside with no other communication. The sweet welcome message on the board, fresh flowers and bagels were a very nice touch. Other than that we really liked the little place but do think that if they want to run a VRBO they need to work on better customer service skills.
