Just a short distance from highway 515, located in Morganton, GA, your mountain adventure begins with a drive through rolling hills, beautiful farmland, and rising mountain peaks. Just minutes from Morganton Point recreation area, fishing, hiking, vineyards and multiple other attractions.
The property sits directly across from Serenberry Vineyards, we recommend a visit to enjoy the wide open areas, fine wines and lovely views.
As you reach the cabin there will be plenty of level parking for up to five vehicles. The home is accessible up the stairs to the porch facing the parking area. The doors are a special locking/latch mechanism so entry will be with a traditional key accessible from an electronic box.
You will enter into the foyer and immediately fall in love with the intricate building details. The home was built by the owner and specific to their vision. Admire the saw cut beams, stone wood burning fireplace, beautiful designer floors and large gourmet kitchen!
The kitchen is the centerpiece of the large living area. It features stainless steel appliances including, gas range top, dual electric ovens for those large meals, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. It has a full spice rack, expanded granite countertops, separate pantry, and bar stools for an additional dining option. All the space you need for large group gatherings!
The dining area, with seating for twelve, is directly off the kitchen with views of the mountains and valley below. There is also a deck area off the dining room to have your morning coffee and gaze over mother nature's beauty! Your grilling expertise has three different options to choose from: gas grill, charcoal grill and green egg.
The large living room has ample seating for your party including a sofa, several chairs and two rockers. There is a large screen TV with Dish Network and streaming capabilities and cozy stone wood burning fireplace. Wood is not provided but can be purchased during the reservation process and it will be delivered prior to your arrival. There is also a small table provided for puzzles, board games or your favorite card game.
There is a large screen porch that is accessible from the deck off the dining area or in the hallway that you entered the home. It has outdoor seating, dining table, overlooking the flat yard area and fire pit, with beautiful long-range and close up mountain views!
Back inside the main level has a large master suite bedroom with king bed, large walk-in closet, bathroom with walk-in shower, dual vanities and separate water closet.
The upstairs includes two king master suites. The first known as the Timber Room is larger, featuring beautiful textured stained walls, with a private balcony. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo and single vanity. The second master suite has a bathroom with tub/shower combo and single vanity suite.
The downstairs has two more bedrooms. The first is a master queen suite, affectionately known as the brass room, with a private bathroom featuring a tub/shower combo and single vanity.
The last bedroom has two bunk beds. One set has two twin beds and the other has a twin on top and queen on bottom. There is an additional bathroom just outside this bedroom that has a tub/shower combo and single vanity.
The kids and adults will love the large open area downstairs with a ping pong table, vintage PAC Man game, darts and additional living area.
The living area has a gas fireplace, recliner sofa, additional seating, and features a wide assortment of ducks showcasing their respective beauty and uniqueness.
The lower patio is accessible from the downstairs living area. It has a seven person hot tub, and four swinging chairs. The hot tub and patio area provide soothing views of the mountains and valley below. You can have a friendly game of corn hole on the patio or move it to the manicured yard just off the patio.
The firepit is a short distance from the patio and is the perfect spot to gather as a family or friends and enjoy the privacy and solitude of this amazing property!

Access is via paved roads until the gravel access road. The gravel access road will lead you back past a few homes and businesses before transferring to the 40 acres of the property. The drive is easy the first part of the gravel road with a few bumps. Once you cross the concrete bridge the drive will be a little more difficult with a few sharp cutbacks and some steeper inclines. Some front wheel drive vehicles will be able to maneuver the driveway but an AWD or 4x4 is recommended for those not use to mountain gravel roads and inclines. If you stay to the top side of the road on the turns vs. cutting it sharp, it will help with traction. The key is maintaining your momentum so you don't come to a stop on an incline. There are not any drop offs on the access road.
