We tapped into our German heritage a bit as the inspiration for this vacation haus. Prost means the same thing as “cheers” or “salut!” You will be surrounded by some of the best breweries in the world. This is the perfect place to make a toast with craft beer, mead, cider or wine.
We hope that you also enjoy some calorie burning hikes and bike rides, and find plenty of reasons to raise a glass and say “Prost!” with your friends.
Our house is located off of a secluded drive in Pisgah Forest. The deck overlooks beautiful trees, including some gorgeous hemlocks which are becoming few and far between in the Carolinas. You will spend most of the time on the back deck looking at some incredible trees and a distant mountain skyline.
The main bathroom is located off the master bedroom, and the half bathroom is located off the second bedroom. There is a detached third room located off the garage with a futon for extra sleeping room but does not have it's own bathroom. This room also has strong wifi and could be used as an office space.
We have a great coffee maker (Bonavita) and a coffee grinder. There is a coffee roasting company in Brevard and Oskar Blues also has some great coffee beans for sale in their brewery store.
10 minutes outside downtown Brevard, Pisgah National Forest and DuPont.
