The Pisgah Adventure Retreat has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and is well equipped with all you would need for a mountain getaway.
The open kitchen includes brand new appliances as of December 2023. Patio has gas grill with a view.
Pet friendly property has a fully fenced in back yard. $100/pet fee. Please be sure to notify us ahead of your arrival if you intend to travel with a pet. Also be sure to clean the back yard prior to departing or there will be an additional $50 cleaning fee.
Wifi and Fire-tv are included to ensure you can stay connected (if you choose not to completely unplug).

Summary: Overall this home is as represented. Checkin was easy. The home was clean, kitchen well stocked with lots of counter space. It was a bit cold to use the porch, but it had a nice view (home below slightly visible but private). The wifi was speedy and the owner was responsive to questions. The short street is quiet and free of traffic or noisy neighbors. It’s a short drive to Brevard, Hendersonville, or to DuPont State Forest (short rewarding hikes there). There are a few things to know. The bedrooms with jack and jill bath have bifold louvered doors to the main space and bath. They have a handle on one side only and are transparent to any sounds, so caution to light sleepers. The beds were comfortable but at least one of them is very low to the floor. Indoor seating in the living area is a couch and one chair unless you use the dining chairs (as pictured). Given three bedrooms, it might be tight for a larger family or multiple couples. The couch looks newer but was uncomfortable for both adults in our party. Notably, on this holiday stay, the oven did not work which added some stress and improvisation to the day. The owner was apologetic, but given the holiday had limited ability to remedy. They did however request that I take appliance measurements for them so they could shop for replacements on Black Friday, which seemed a misread of the situation, particularly with no other consideration offered for our inconvenience. Checkout was straightforward and easy.
