About this space
Welcome to our vacation home, a gorgeous lakefront property. We escape from our city lives to recharge here, and would love to share the experience of our retreat haven ! There are stunning lake views from every single room and 3 backyard porch sections for you to enjoy! It's THE perfect getaway for nature lovers! Close to Research Triangle, Durham downtown, Duke University, UNC, etc... We also offer a late check-out of 1pm so you don’t need to rush on your last day checking out !
The space
It's a 2 BR/2bath townhouse attached home with majestic double height ceilings in the living room with a working fireplace, work-place nooks, mezzanine loft with library and Queen sized sofabed, dining, kitchen, washer/dryer. Both bedrooms have King sized beds with hybrid coil/memory foam mattresses. Fully equipped kitchen includes a Nespresso machine, French press, water boiler, toaster, dishwasher, microwave, stovetop, convection oven, pressure cooker; for you to cook according to your needs. There is a dining alcove that seats 8 as well as a spacious living room with a Queen sized sofa-bed. The back porches are well equipped with an umbrella, table, benches, outdoor chairs and reclining chairs as well as a hanging pod chair. There are yoga mats and a foam roller available at your request. There is a Roku TV and two projectors in each of the bedrooms for your streaming pleasure.
Guest access
There are 2 parking spots in the driveway in front of the home. There is a trail that goes around the lake which you can explore as well as trails in the woods for some hiking and deer sighting.

Imagine taking your morning coffee on the lake or reading your favorite book curled up in the swing egg chair. The backyard exposition is Southeast so you get amazing morning and early afternoon sun for some sun-bathing on the recliner chairs we have provided. Brunches are even better to the sounds of nature and birds chirping happily to your meals. Take the time to breathe and recharge your energies here with the yoga mats and exercise materials we have provided. Nestle into soft plush blankets around a cozy fire in the evening as you sip some hot chocolate and roast some marshmellows. We have curated the perfect little escape experience to clear your mind and lift your spirit.
The space is set up to disconnect from the world and commune with nature so there is no TV in the house but we do have 2 projectors in each of the bedrooms, 1 set up with HDMI and WGA cables for your laptop and another one with wifi chromecast to mirror from your phone for your streaming pleasure.
