Nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina near The Village of Flat Rock NC, this gorgeous Ralph Lauren inspired mountain log home is conveniently located off interstate I-26, 30 miles south of Asheville, 5 miles south of Hendersonville and bordering the beautiful town of Flatrock. Close proximity to I 26 provides easy access to 2 airports, Greenville SC (45 minute drive) and Asheville (30 minute drive). Located in the beautiful private estate of Summit Landing, nestled on 2 acres of a private wooded estate, this home has 1900 square feet of gorgeous living space. Our outside space is equally as beautiful and you may enjoy a morning stroll through our butterfly garden, meditating in our meditation garden , enjoying a beautiful evening around the fire pit or simply rocking on the front porch watching the hummingbirds feed.
Perfect for a romantic getaway for 2 or time with the family exploring and hiking our waterfalls and mountains, you will find all the amenities of home right at your fingertips. This mountain log home is a private family home that has never been used as a rental, and furnishings and artwork have been hand picked from artisans in the blue ridge community. With ability to sleep 6 people, this home as a beautiful and large master suite with an on-suite bathroom with a separate sitting area located on the main level. The home also has 2 bedrooms upstairs ( 1 with a queen bed and a full bed and the other bedroom with 2 twin beds) that share a very spacious oversized bathroom. An additional bathroom is located in on the main level adjacent to living areas. This home also has a living room with a large stone fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a large dining room table that can accommodate 6 people, and a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. You may also enjoy breakfast or cocktails on our screened in back porch with a dinner table and seating to accommodate any occasion. The home also has an attached 2 car garage and a gas grill for your use. WIFI is available on property, and both the master bedroom and the living room have flat screen TV's with access to Roku TV, Hulu and Netflix, or many others compatible with WiFi. This home and surrounding grounds are completely non-smoking (no exceptions) and we are not able to accept pets of any kind.
This home has association access to the beautiful Green River which connects to Lake Summit. The quaint village of Flat Rock and Hendersonville are only a few miles up the road, where you will also find the legendary Flat Rock Playhouse and countless award winning restaurants. They City of Asheville, home of the famous Biltmore Estate, is only 30 miles up the road. Surrounding areas such as Chimney Rock, Black Mountain, Lake Lure and Greenville SC are a short car ride away.
We provide all toilet tissue, paper towels, dish soap, dishwashing detergent and washing machine detergents. Our linens and towels are premium quality, all which are also provided for your use. The home has both air conditioning and heat, ensuring you are always at a comfortable temperature for your vacation. We have a local property manager on call for any needs that may arise. We do not require a security deposit, however, home away insurance protection plan ($79 option) must be purchased.
