High speed internet is installed. Welcome to our little piece of paradise! Das River Haus is a 1600 square foot cedar panabode log home located on the banks of the Chiwawa river. Cabin features two bedrooms, one bath, and a full spacious kitchen with all amenities. Cabin has a living room with a thermostat controlled propane fireplace, leather reclining couch, and leather recliners with a great views of the Chiwawa riverfront in the front yard. Wonderful setting to relax, have a cup of coffee or glass of wine and take in the stunning natural beauty the area has to offer. Cabin also has a rec room with a 48" HD smart TV, card table, and leather furniture. We added a new large deck overlooking the river this year and a hot tub.
In the winter, the Chiwawa Pines neighborhood is unique in that it allows snowmobile access on the county roads to the groomed trail network and beyond depending on how adventurous you are feeling. There are several rentals available locally as well as guided tours. We provide spacious parking for large enclosed trailers or travel trailers, however no hook-ups are provided. Other wintertime activities in the area are: Alpine skiing at Stevens Pass, Mission Ridge, and Leavenworth ski hill, Nordic skiing on the groomed trail networks in Plain, Lake Wenatchee area, and Leavenworth, snowshoeing, and just enjoying this relaxing atmosphere on your holiday. Summertime activities include: River sports, hiking, fishing, boating, mtn biking, road cycling, off road motorcycling on our local ORV trail systems, wine tasting, visiting Leavenworth, and many more. In the summer months we have ample room for travel trailers or RVs to accommodate additional guests, however we do not provide hook ups. RV dump is available at the lake Wenatchee state park 5 miles away.
This truly is a great setting to stage your midweek or weekend excursions from, or just take a few deep breaths and get away from it all, and we know that you and your friends/family will enjoy it as much as ours have. Enjoy!
