We are offering our modern 3-bedroom home snuggled within a fenced 1-acre compound in the foothills of the Ozarks. Located at the end of a ½ mile private drive, your next country retreat is a 10 min drive from Russellville AR Lake Dardanelle & Arkansas Tech University. Head south a little bit more and you have access to some of Arkansas’ more dramatic state parks perched on top of Mt Nebo and Mt Petite Jean. Head north and you are in the heart of the Ozarks on Arkansas’ National Scenic HY 7, 30 min from hiking and riding trails and 1 hour from Jasper and the Buffalo National River.
Don’t want to drive anywhere? This newly refurbished open floor plan home features a full kitchen and dining room which opens to both a screened in dining porch and a generous living space with a gas fireplace, Steinway grand piano, original art, modern and antique furnishings, big screen TV & free Wi-Fi. Outside you’ll enjoy further sitting areas; in the back is the BBQ area, out front is a fullwidth porch facing an accessible fruit and berry patch which is “you-pick-it” depending on which season you stay. Finally, there is a fishing pond right outside the motorized gate.
Other amenities include a king bedroom with private bath, a queen bedroom next to a second full bath, washer/dryer, ample parking, and enough space outside the gate to back your trailer around.
This home Is NOT ADA certified but there is a walkway and wide ramp up to the back door, all doorways and hallways are generously sized, and the bathrooms feature grab bars.
Pets are not allowed in the house but are ok in the screened porch and outside in the “yard”.
NOTE: The 1-acre yard is fenced to keep deer away from the fruit and berries. It’s a stout fence in good repair, but small children and pets can probably find a way through. Let them run at your own risk.
GETTING INSIDE: 3:00 check in. The gate and the back door (top of the ramp) will have individualized combinations for your stay. Both operate and lock automatically.
HOUSE RULES:
Please respect our antiques and the Steinway piano. No drinks or food on either.
No smoking.
No pets inside the house. Porches and yard are OK. (PPPO: Please Police your Pet’s Offerings!)
Turn off propane gas after using the BBQ. A spare tank is available in the screened porch.
Bagged trash can be placed in the container by the side garage door.
