A short five minutes outside of the hustle and bustle of tourist packed Gardiner, also known as the northern entrance to Yellowstone National Park, Osprey Point Rest is perched on a bluff overlooking the Yellowstone River and the famous landmark, Devil’s Slide (red rock formation). An abundance of wildlife can easily be spotted from the reading nook or queen bed out the big window overlooking the Yellowstone River; elk, bison, coyotes, deer and the occasional wolf. Both bald eagles and osprey fish along the Yellowstone River below. Without light pollution, star gazing is amazing and often serenaded by the coyotes, wolves and owls.
Water from the tap is clean and crisp rocky mountain spring water, no bottled water necessary. Come relax in your own apartment away from the crowds and enjoy a place where the deer and antelope play.
There is free on-site parking right in front of the main, private entrance. The owner has fenced the yard so it will be free from lovely but often pesky wildlife, free for you to sit outside and enjoy the fresh mountain air and gaze out at the Yellowstone River and mountains beyond on a patio with outdoor chairs.
The studio is complete with a comfortable queen bed, reading lamps on both sides, reading area with a rocking chair and additional LED lights for reading. WiFi and TV are available for more entertainment. We have a window AC unit for the hot summer months.
The kitchenette is thoughtfully stocked complete with a mini refridgerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, electric hot water pot, hot plate, pots and pans, silverware, cooking utensils, dishware, glassware, coffee mugs, tea, honey, spices, and beyond.
Guests have a full and private tiled wall shower and tub combo, small vanity, and toilet. We provide shampoo, soap, towels, toilet paper, and a hair dryer. The bathroom has a door for privacy.
This apartment is perfect for two adults or a child/parent duo. It’s not ideal for small children. Absolutely no third person allowed. Also, please note we have colorful Montana neighbors and every once in a long while, they are known to have too much fun at night. Should this happen while you are staying call Tanya immediately and she will handle any situation that should arise.
Please note that there is absolutely NO SMOKING inside the suite or anywhere on the property.
