You may even see a hawk, squirrel or deer. Only 40 minutes to entrance of Kings Canyon/Sequoia National Parks. Yosemite Park is about 2 hours away. Summary: Good value for visiting Kings Canyon and Sequoia. The house is close to Kings Canyon and the northern entrance to Sequoia, although a bit far from the southern entrance. Given the price though, the distance was acceptable. Good communication with Peter, who promptly returned my call and addressed the questions I had. We liked that the house came stocked with breakfast food, various spices and other kitchen essentials. The house was plenty spacious for our group of six. The grounds around the house have a fair amount of clutter which do take away from the experience. There are peach trees in the front which is a nice touch if the peaches are in season. We got almost no reception with Verizon, which for the most part was a blessing as the kids were forced to find something else to do.
