The Space:
As you drive deep into the Berkshire woodlands, the bustle of daily life will start to slip away. As you turn into the driveway, the charm of this home invites you to relax and breathe in the beautiful surroundings. You can park right next to the front door, making unloading your car especially easy.
At once expansive and cozy, the front entrance brings you into an airy, open living/dining area with built-in bookshelves, walls of windows, and a large dining table where you can immediately imagine sharing a memorable meal. The generous windows, both upstairs and down, slide open, and are fully screened, to allow as much of nature inside as possible, during warmer seasons. Tons of natural light streams in through the numerous windows year-round, allowing nature to be part of the home’s artwork.
Just around the corner from the dining area, you will find a charming, convenient half bath, and just next to it, the laundry and utility room. The recently renovated kitchen, just beyond, is a cook’s dream. Beautiful new appliances and plenty of counter space immediately invite culinary creativity. The bright neutrals of the space lift your mood and guarantee a feeling of spaciousness, even on the most overcast days. A charming breakfast bar offers space to converse or contemplate over morning coffee, as does the adjacent screened porch.
Truly a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, the covered, screened porch allows you to enjoy nature even on a rainy day, and keeps the insects at a distance on those humid Summer days. Beyond the screened porch, a wraparound deck offers ample seating to take in the natural beauty, and just off the deck is a fire pit - perfect to gather around and enjoy the company of your loved ones. Enchanting outdoor lighting adds an extra touch of whimsy and magic.
Just off the entry is the primary suite, hosting a King bed and combination tub/shower in the adjoining bathroom. There is also a large TV atop the dresser, if you wish to cozy up and watch something in bed. Just outside the sliding door is a beautiful flower garden - absolutely idyllic in the Summer, complete with an outdoor shower.
As you move upstairs, you immediately come upon a gorgeous second full bath, with a luxurious walk - in shower and a calming ambiance, thanks to the beautiful tile work that mimics the colors of the natural surroundings.
Just to the left is a cozy Queen bedroom, again, with plenty of natural light streaming in. Next to the Queen bedroom is a dedicated meditation room that offers the perfect sanctuary for inner peace. This space also invites you to stay active with "The Mirror" workout system, and would be a perfect spot for some yoga, if you bring your mat with you. The meditation room also houses an ingenious full-sized pull out bed, should you need an extra sleeping space.
Across the landing is the truly spectacular upstairs living room. With a full wall of windows, it invites creativity, relaxation, and togetherness. A large sectional sofa sits in front of a television, flanked by more expansive sliding windows. High ceilings and plenty of floor space inspire relaxation and ease, while a daybed offers a spot to cozy up and read or watch the woods through the windows. This room also features a comfortable game table - a perfect place to take advantage of the puzzles and board games that are already at the house, or feel free to bring your favorite with you!

Getting Around:
To enjoy the expansive beauty of the region, you'll need a car to get here and get around--and the drive will be stunning! Since cell service can be inconsistent in the country, we recommend that you download the region's online maps to your phone before your trip.
We strongly advise using or renting a car that has all wheel or 4 wheel drive to access the property, especially in the colder months.

Nature & What to pack:
We urge guests to pay close attention when enjoying nature, weather can change quickly and wild animals can be surprising. Because temperatures in the mountains can fluctuate widely, even in the height of summer, we recommend packing sweaters and light, cold-weather gear just in case. Depending on the activities you plan, we recommend packing hiking, running, swimming, horseback riding, and/or running gear. We also recommend that guests consider spraying clothes with Permethrin when walking outside, to help avoid ticks. In winter we recommend guests pack several layers of warm clothing and ensure that their vehicles are ready for potential snowfall. For other clothing, most venues around are very casual.
