Located in the heart of Southern Berkshire County, in the town of Egremont, sits this newly renovated colonial. With an effort to retain all of its original and classic charm, we've outfitted this house with all the modern conveniences and accommodations one would expect in a luxury rental. A short walk to the town of Egremont and one of the area's most renowned restaurants, The Old Mill. A 9 minute drive to the town of Great Barrington, 8 minutes to Catamount, 12 mins to Butternut and 30 minutes to Tanglewood!
The house is perfect for large family gatherings and groups looking to enjoy a spacious home in the Berkshires. The home is an expansive 5 bedroom with three full bathrooms, fully stocked with all the necessary amenities . Upon entering the home from the covered porch and mudroom entrance, is a lounge and game room with foosball, chess and an array of board games to enjoy some quality time with friends and family. The kitchen boasts a spacious island with vaulted ceilings, a wet bar and breakfast nook with ample seating. The remaining rooms on the first floor are; a formal dining room, den with pull out sofa bed (alternate 5th bedroom), adjacent full bath, sunroom, and a relaxing living room perfect for a cozy movie.
The second floor has four bedrooms, including a King, two Queens and a bunkbed or two Twins. The swan inspired, feathered bathroom, is located as the shared bath for the King, Queen and bunkbed rooms on the left side of the second floor. Adjoining the back part of the second floor, is the black and white wallpapered media room with a flat screen tv and futon for additional sleeping accommodations. Lastly, is the back Queen bedroom with a separate full bath and back stairwell. All bedrooms have televisions, excluding the bunkbed room.

Summary: The house was terrific! Looks even better in person. The house is spacious and very nicely decorated. There is a large yard too. Kitchen is very large with lots of counter space and room to eat. We cooked several meals for 8 adults and we were all able to work in the kitchen at the same time without stepping all over each other. The property manager and owner are very responsive and get back to you quickly with answers to your questions. Location is ideal - plus there is an Alpaca farm down the road :)
