Tranquility on the New River was designed to take full advantage of the picturesque setting. In the morning, brew cup of coffee in the well-equipped kitchen and enjoy it on the oversized deck where views of the river span for miles. Enjoy meals al fresco and listen to the calm waters lap against the riverbanks or light a bonfire in the firepit and roast marshmallows under the stars.
For a closer look, walk down to the riverbank. The cabin is just minutes from the public river access at New River State Park Elk Shoals. Bring your own kayaks or inner tubes or book an excursion with one of the local outfitters to see why the slow-moving ancient river is a top spot for recreation in the High Country.
The cabin is in West Jefferson, just minutes to downtown where the streets are lined with boutiques, art galleries, restaurants.
