Our home in Double Bay on the beautiful island of Eleuthera was completed on April 20, 2020. It sits on 2.3 acres nestled between a 20 acre pond and a beautiful private beach. We are very proud that all of the facilities on our property are environmentally sustainable with solar power and a rain harvesting system.
The main house is 8,400 sq ft. with four en-suite bedrooms plus a separate master suite with private entrance. The chef-inspired kitchen features a custom rock wall, large island, gas range, double oven, and any cooking tool the most skilled chef could need. The spacious living room with soaring 28 ft ceilings include a beautiful bar and is perfect for family game night, conversation, or a sunset cocktail which can be viewed from the large pergola attached overlooking the heated infinity pool and private pink sand beach.
The detached guest casita which is 2,200 sq ft. overlooks the pool and has a large living space and eat-in kitchen. It has three en-suite bedrooms as well as an additional bunk room, with top twin bunks and bottom full/double bunks, which also features a full bathroom. The living area also has a sofa bed.
A large covered cabana--affectionately known as “The Office”--rounds out the incredible lot and faces both the private beach and showcases the sunset from the pond side of the property. The multi-functional space can be used for yoga, cocktails, coffee breaks, massages, or a quiet dinner by the ocean.
YellowBird comes fully staffed with a cook for breakfast and lunch, housekeeper, and concierge services. Airport pick-up and drop-off is included. Grocery stocking is available at no charge. (Guests pay for their own food.) We ask for a 12% gratuity for the staff.
Services available for an extra charge include chef for dinners, massage, yoga, and painting classes for adults and children.
Amenities include AC, WIFI, satellite TV, Sonos entertainment system, beach chairs and umbrellas, gas grill, 2 sea kayaks, solar power, back-up generator, and more.

Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were able to bring the entire family together from the west coast of the U.S. and from Sweden to spend a glorious vacation together at your beautiful property. I struggle to name just one thing that made this the vacation of a lifetime because there were so many perfect things- the setting is gorgeous with one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The home is spacious and welcoming and was so much room for all of us to be together and still have our space.But the experience would not have been anything like it was without the marvelous staff and their attention to detail. They are marvelous people. The breakfasts and lunches were superb and not one meal was put on the table without consideration for the kiddos and their needs! Thank you Adriann for every yummy lunch of shrimp or tacos or sandwiches and filling breakfasts of perfect eggs and home baked goodies! Cenize looked after our every detail and watched over us like a mother hen, making sure our every desire for jet skis, massages, yoga and deep sea fishing was taken care of and seamless. She offered details about Bahamian life on the island and seemed to know everyone. Tyler was one of the first faces we saw at the airport as he welcomed us with cold water and a big smile, and Tepa and Tyler surprised us with a fun bonfire party on our last night. Tepa's huge smile every night as he helped prepare the house for night time was the best! We were taken care of by them all week from fresh coconuts to assistance at the beach with kyaks. They felt like part of the family by week's end! And we have to mention Tatyana and Tiffany whom we barely saw, but who made sure our accommodations were always sparkling and fresh. This staff made it even more difficult to say goodbye. We all agreed this is the best vacation we have ever had, and we have been on many.
