Welcome to our cozy Colorado home. We have tastefully decorated and designed this space to have a warm and inviting Colorado sense, while also inspiring the outdoor spirit of the Rocky Mountains. Guests are steps away from the iconic Highline Canal Trail (the longest walking trail in Denver), a short 10-minute car ride to Chatfield State Park, or 10 minutes from Denver's premier Restaurants and Bars on South Broadway. Stay, relax, hike, bike, ski, eat, or drink and enjoy our beautiful city.
The space
Modern rustic 2br and 1bath suite with a toast to the Colorado life. We have curated the space to accommodate those looking to truly enrich themselves with the Colorado "vibes." Guests have a private entrance on the north side of the house. The entrance is a keyless digital lock. There is a full living room complete with a 65" Smart TV, featuring Netflix, Youtube, and local cable channels. One full-size leather couch and lounge chair, fireplace (not useable), a bistro table with four chairs, and two wall-mounted coat racks. The thermostat is a NEST home system and is located just above the microwave in the kitchenette. The kitchenette comes with a stocked coffee bar, featuring one microwave, Kuerig machine, coffee [K-Cups], coffee mugs, creamer, trash bin, and refrigerator and freezer. The bathroom is stocked with towels and toiletries. There are two full bedrooms in the suite. The first bedroom is a very large room with a queen-size bed, a chest of drawers, two side tables, wall mounted lights, wall outlets for chargers, and working desk space. The second room is the King Room. The King Room comes with a king-size bed, two side tables, wall outlets for chargers, a luggage rack, a closet, and two hanging robes.
This space has a kitchenette, not a full kitchen. There is not a sink other than the bathroom. We live upstairs so you might hear light walking from time to time. We try to be very mindful and always be courteous of any noise. If guests are planning to stay longer than 5 days, we may ask to coordinate the use of our laundry room that is located in the downstairs suite.
We have a Golden Retriever named Cooper who lounges in the backyard from time to time. He is very friendly, but you might encounter him when arriving or leaving. The entrance to the suite is through the backyard.
