Welcome to Midtown Oasis. Have a Staycation! Our lovely vintage home is available for large families and friends to share life-long memories together under one roof. With over 2500 sq ft and 3 separate living areas on a 1/4 acre lot, you get the feeling of being out of town even though you are only blocks from downtown.
The backyard has plenty of loungers and dining areas to keep you comfy while you swim, hot tub, and BBQ. Plus, we pay the cities' 10% occupancy tax for you!
The space
Reconnect with friends and family on our 1/4 acre, very private shaded, covered outdoor patio, with blue tooth speakers, a 55" smart TV, ceiling fan, can lights, bbq, oven and sink, Reinvigorate yourself by taking a cool dip in the pool, or a soak in the hot tub. There is a full size refrigerator and washer, dryer located just off the patio.
The upstairs bedroom is about 800 sq ft. and is like a dorm room, it has 2 queen beds, (plus 2 queen air mattresses if needed), a couch, a TV [local stations, Netflix and Disney] and its own bathroom. In the den downstairs, there is Netflix, Disney, Xfinity and a Wii Station.
There are plenty of games for adults and children. As well as books for kids.
And comfortable seating throughout the house. The front living room has a piano for you to enjoy.
There is a desk and printer available with lightning fast wi-fi for those needing to conduct business while on vacation.
We have a treadmill in the downstairs den and a universal gym in the upstairs dorm room.
Our Sierra Nevada Brewery hosts free tours. Just schedule a tour time. Their restaurant is pretty awesome too!
Even though there is plenty to do in Chico, most of our guests say they enjoyed
Midtown Oasis so much that they rarely ventured out.
While our home is comfortable and spacious, some of the house details have not been renovated to retain its vintage charm.
On the patio, there are several lounge chairs, 2 dining room tables that seat up to 14 people. And for the pool there are loungers and life jackets. We also provide basic beach towels.
Though we specify no parties, it doesn't mean you can't hold celebration of life events, such as birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and family gatherings. Just be aware of quiet times (11pm to 7 am) and be respectful of our neighbors. If after curfew and you are still wanting to stay up and celebrate being together, come on inside. The house is fairly sound- proof, so sleeping children will probably stay asleep.

CLOSE - The Oasis is just a short stroll to the Downtown Chico night- life and restaurants - visit the Thursday Night Market, the Saturday Farmer's Market, or catch a film at The Pageant Theater!
Guest access
If you have 2+ cars, park as many cars in the driveway as you can. Street parking is available too. (Be mindful that neighbors need a place to park.) Keyless, front door entrance .
Other things to note
Please do not let children jump on the air beds. They will end up leaking air,
and we will have to replace them.
Please, no cats. Many people have debilitating allergies. Dogs, okay. But if we find their poos, there will be a $25 charge for clean up. Please keep animals off furniture in consideration of future guests. If we have major clean up to do because of dog hair on everything, you will be charged an extra cleaning fee.
There is a $200. fee if someone smokes inside the home. We are very strict about this. If there is broken glass outside, we will charge a $50. fee for clean up. And if you ignore hot tub rules and hot tub needs to be drained and cleaned, you will be charged a $150. fee
In addition, if there is any problem whatsoever, please contact us so that we may remedy the situation as soon as possible.
