Positive: A very nicely furnished self-contained flat near the "Quartier Latin" of Aarhus - a lively yet safe neighbourhood where lots of young people congregate. While there are many cafes and bars nearby, there is no noise inside the flat at all, and walking around feels safe. Entrance directly from the street and huge french door front wall make a great observation point of street life outside! The decoration and equipment are brand new and just right, with a touch of purely Danish elegance. Note that Aarhus strives to eliminate cars from the city center - which means it is better to park the car in one of the municipal car parks away from the flat, much cheaper.
Negative: The property is managed by a local company, it is one of a series, so communication and information are automated. The only hitches we experienced came from that - first, we did not get the promised link to the "guide on property", so did not even know how to get in on arrival. A phone call to support resolved that issue, but the link to the property manual that support delivered after the call expired the very next day, so that we could not consult it throughout our stay (3 days). On departure day the access code on the door stopped working early in the morning - luckily we noticed, otherwise could have been locked out when going out to get our car. Loading the car therefore happened with one of us always inside, to open the door.
Summary: Stylish and comfortable flat with all mod cons and a great view of Aarhus street life.
