"Mountain Meadow" is truly a beautiful unique farmhouse sitting on 10 acres of land with meadows and woodlands surrounding it. Driving through the gate and up a long drive you arrive to the farmhouse with its splendid view of the meadow below and the mountain beyond. Outside amenities include 2 Fire Pits, 1 down by the meadow where the cows roam and 1 in the expansive backyard where there's swings and even a small zipline for children to enjoy. Inside the custom built home you will find every room to be one you will want to enjoy. The Great Room has a large wood burning fireplace and wonderful old beams made from barns long gone. Double doors open to the outdoor porch which has a gas fireplace, seating area, dining table and a Blackstone grill. From the porch you can also go to the kitchen with brick pavers on the floor, double ovens, gas cooktop and everything you need to eat at home. A dining table looks through the big windows out to the front meadow. A small gas fireplace beside the entry door for warming your feet. There's a 1/2 Bath and Laundry Room also off the kitchen area. Going down the hall from the kitchen past the Great Room is The Master Bedroom with King Bed and its own fireplace. The Master Bath has tub and large shower and of course double vanities. Upstairs you will find 2 Guest Bedrooms with Queen Beds. A Full Bath in the Hallway Area. A large Loft Area overlooks the Great Room and has a trundle bed that makes a great place for overflow sleeping. If you need to watch a tv there's one in the Great Room, The Master Bedroom and The Porch Area. If you need a city fix Highlands, NC is only 10 minutes away going North. You will also pass the Highlands Outpost Area where you can find Snow Tubing and ice skating; as well as a ride called "The Mountain Screamer". Going South you will pass Highlands Canopy which is a world class Zipline open all year weather permitting. About 15 minutes down the mountain are the towns of Dillard and Clayton, Georgia. Oh, and just past the Zipline take a Left and visit Sky Valley for a championship 18 hole golf course open all year weather permitting.
