Welcome to our cozy Berkshires retreat, located just a stone's throw away from downtown Great Barrington and minutes to ski slopes at Butternut! With three wood-burning fireplaces, this three-bedroom spacious and charming house is the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring, eating, skiing, and everything else the Berkshires have to offer.

Once you step inside Mason's Lodge, you're immediately struck by the warmth and coziness of the interior. The first thing you notice is the beautiful hardwood floors and a five-flute fireplace crafted by the long-time owner and skilled mason by profession.
On the first floor is a spacious living room with one of the three fireplaces that is the perfect spot for curling up with a good book or enjoying a glass of wine with family and friends. When ready, move to comfortable couches and enjoy your favorite show or movie on a 55-inch TV.
You can find another fireplace (and a pizza oven!) just around the corner in a dining room with a large table and plenty of seating for entertaining. It’s an inviting space for fun dinners and hanging out, especially during the colder months.
Beyond the dining room is the bright kitchen with 12-foot ceilings. It’s fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay feel like home. Appliances include an oven and a gas stove, a Keurig coffee machine, a fridge and freezer, a dishwasher, and a microwave. There's a large granite island in the center, which is perfect for meal prep and casual dining.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms, each with its own unique charm. The primary king-size bedroom is spacious and features a beautiful fireplace, which is perfect for creating a romantic ambiance. Tall ceilings are accompanied by wood beams saved from the original house built more than 120 years ago, in 1900. The primary suite also includes a walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom with both a bathtub and a shower
The other two are both queen-size and are equally lovely, each with plenty of natural light and closet space.
Finally, outside, there's a lovely brick patio with outdoor seating and a Weber grill, perfect for summer barbecues in the sun or under an umbrella. Enjoy a large hammock in the well-maintained backyard. Or start a fire and roast s’mores in the fire pit surrounded by four Adirondack chairs.
