1 Bedroom Cabin with Kitchen, Laundry and Air Conditioner

Located near: rivers kayaking, tubing, Nantahala, white waters; Cherokee town with great activites; Dillsboro scenic Mt day train, Sylva restaurants and breweries. Hiking and Mountain Bike trails are minutes away.
Recently remodel. Fresh paint and remodeled this clean cabin is ready for your stay. A fully equipped kitchen and there is BBQ and a fire pit to enjoy after a day in the Smokies.
The space
Clean studio with queen bed surrounded by the Smoky Mts. also in the living room is a queen fold out couch. The full kitchenet has most cooking supplies you will need. (only room for only one cook) Stove, oven, microwave, frig, toaster, Keurig & drip coffee makers, pots & pans, dishes and glassware (starter coffee provided). This recently remodeled cabin is cozy and ready for your stay. The small bedroom has a single trundle bed . The bathroom has a new full tub and shower. WIFI is about 35 to 40 Mbps. . This cabin has a new air conditioner, with remote control. Outdoors offers a BBQ, firepit and serene views or just relax and enjoy the covered porch and mountain forest in the yard.
5 minutes away Cherokee has many special events and native American functions, in addition to Harrah's Casino (within the casino: live music, breweries, restaurants, bowling, arcade, plus gaming) A beautiful river flows through Cherokee with tubing and fishing. Nearby Nantahala has renown white water kayaking, rafting and ziplining. Many other rivers offer tubing and other excellent outdoor activities. Hiking and Mt. bike trails abound. Dillsboro, Bryson City and Sylva are only a few minutes away and have many great restaurants, breweries and other small town fun shops.

Please be understanding. I am trying to get this ready today for the holiday weekend. Please Don't rent if you cant be tolerant. It will be fully ready very soon. This is a clean place with new kitchen bath and fresh paint. A few items not quite ready, (waiting for parts on the trundle bed and tv wall mount)

Summary: We had a really nice stay at the mama bear cabin! The cabin itself was clean and well furnished. We had all the amenities we needed to feel comfortable for our short stay. We were happy to take a nice hot shower, cook some food in the kitchenette to save money, and watch tv on the smart tv. We didn’t get to checkout the hot tub while we were there because of timing, but that probably would have been fun if we had. We brought our two dogs with us who usually spend the whole time anxious and barking whenever we go on trips, which means no one is having a good time. They were actually very relaxed and quiet at this location thanks to it being so private and quiet. The little stretch of road outside the property was perfect for taking quick walks, and trash was conveniently located for cleaning up after them. Jon was a great host. He had a booklet full of useful information and was amenable to our needs. I had to change the booking from November to December because of a mixup with WCU for my trip (I was visiting to work on my thesis), and he was gracious to work with me to get that changed. We’re very thankful, and if I ever have to return to the area, I’d definitely reach out to him first about booking.
