Positive: It's not that often you stay in a place so redolent of history. My wife and I arrived a little early and the owner Manuel was charming, telling us a little about the convent's past and how he is renovating buildings. We left our bags and returned to be welcomed by his daughter. During our three day stay we climbed to the top floor to admire the view, including the cathedral. Later that day we climbed to the top of the tower of Saint-Just - more arduous. Narbonne centre and Canal de la Robine are really close by.
